General policy — the final, binding terms for any deployment are set in your partner or service agreement and confirmed with counsel.
Important context for how to read and use Gene Box and Evolveme reports.
Decision-support, not a diagnosis
Reports are intended to support qualified health professionals. They are not, by themselves, a medical diagnosis, and should be interpreted alongside clinical judgement and the patient’s full history.
Consult a qualified professional
Do not start, stop or change any treatment, medication or supplement based solely on a report. Always consult a qualified clinician before making medical decisions.
Wellness vs clinical findings
Wellness insights are evidence-graded and informational. Clinical-grade findings carry confidence levels and a human review step — but genetics is probabilistic: results indicate risk and likelihood, not certainty.
No professional relationship
Providing a report does not create a doctor–patient or other professional relationship between The Gene Box and any individual. Where the platform is delivered white-label, that relationship sits with the partner who provides care.
Evidence evolves
Interpretations are grounded in a curated evidence base that is reviewed and updated over time. As the science changes, associations can be revised or downgraded; a report reflects the evidence available when it was produced.
