Genetic Testing essentially unboxes the mystery of our DNA. The human body is made of several trillions of cells and is made up of thousands of genes. It often plays an important role in overall health too. As a result, genetic research plays an important role in detection, prevention and/or treatment of diseases which are caused by genetic abnormalities and mutations.

AN EXPLOSION OF KNOWLEDGE: MULTIPLEXED INTERVENTIONAL GENOMICS

Discovery biology, pre-genomics, followed a linear path: develop a hypothesis, design an experiment and carefully control variables, one at a time, to prove or disprove the hypothesis.
The challenge with this “classical” approach is not only the “one step after another” pace, but the fact that the formation of a hypothesis is limited by our current knowledge and imagination.

BOOTSTRAPPED STARTUP THE GENE BOX AIMS TO ANALYSE WELLNESS PARAMETERS THROUGH GENOMICS

TGB collects blood or saliva samples to analyse DNA. The individual DNA is subject to genotyping through DNA microarray technology which gives the team individual raw data. This data is fed into an algorithm that yields a comprehensive qualitative and quantitative report with just a click. The Gene Box analyses over 700,000 data points from raw data with actionable recommendations on various health parameters.
